Dr. Varo Boyer, DDS, MICOI
Dental Implant Specialist & Educator
Dr. Varo Boyer is a highly skilled dental implant specialist and educator, with a strong background in oral surgery and advanced implantology. He graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry in 2008, and after completing additional training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Veterans Administration hospitals, Dr. Boyer focused his expertise on treating medically compromised patients and trauma cases. His passion for implant dentistry led him to a two-year residency at the UCLA Dental Implant Continuum, where he mastered the latest advancements in implant surgery and restoration.
Dr. Boyer has been in private practice in Simi Valley since 2008, where he has placed and restored thousands of dental implants. As a faculty member at UCLA School of Dentistry, he is dedicated to sharing his knowledge with dental students and residents. Dr. Boyer is also a sought-after lecturer, speaking locally and nationally on dental implants.
Recognized for his contributions to the field, Dr. Boyer was awarded Fellow status by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) in 2018, and in 2024, he was honored with the title of Master by the ICOI. He has published numerous articles in leading dental journals like Dentistry Today and is actively involved in research and development of new dental products.
In addition to his clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Boyer was inducted as an Honorary Fellow and CleanImplant Ambassador by the CleanImplant Foundation for his dedication to patient care and the advancement of implantology. He is also a Board Member of the International Academy of Oral Ceramic Implantology, where he advocates for the development of metal-free implantology worldwide.
