Dr. Chanook David Ahn is a highly skilled Board-Certified Periodontist specializing in dental implant surgery, the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease, and esthetic soft tissue surgeries. Renowned for his precision, technical expertise, and commitment to patient care, Dr. Ahn ensures optimal results for every procedure he performs.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Ahn is an esteemed educator. He lectures to dental students and residents at the University of California, Los Angeles, and the WLA VA Hospital, where he also holds study clubs at the World Academy of Dental Education. He serves as the director for the Advanced Dental Implant Research and Education Center (AIC).
Dr. Ahn earned his BS in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he contributed to the groundbreaking work at the David Watkin’s AIDS Vaccine Lab. After completing his dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, he further honed his clinical expertise with a General Practice Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was awarded Resident of the Year.
