Dr. Karnik Shah

Dr. Karnik Shah has been practicing dentistry since 2011. He received his dental degree in Mumbai, India, and practiced there for 2 years as an associate at multiple offices and then as a part owner.

He subsequently completed an Advanced Prosthodontics residency with a certificate and MS degree in 2016 at the esteemed Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Here, he was exposed to multiple major implant systems used in the North American market, both from restorative and surgical aspects, with comprehensive training from Single Implants to Full mouth rehabilitation and Digital dentistry.

Dr Shah practices all aspects of modern reconstructive, prosthodontic, aesthetic, cosmetic, and surgical implant dentistry. He started practicing in Austin, TX, in 2017 as an associate at a DSO, graduating as a traveling wisdom teeth and dental implant specialist. Finally, he opened his private practice here in the Austin Area – Clover Smile Studio. He practices all aspects of implant dentistry, including complex surgical procedures such as Sinus augmentation, Ridge expansion, and All-on-x-type surgical and restorative procedures.

On the personal front, Dr Shah and his pharmacist wife, Dr Pooja Shah, are eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child, a baby girl who is due very soon. He loves to do DIY projects and gardening in his free time, which he might soon not have much of!
