Dr. Hyung-Jun Kong, DDS, MS

Dr. Hyung-Jun Kong is a highly skilled prosthodontist with extensive experience in both clinical practice and dental education. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Kong moved to the United States at the age of 19 to pursue higher education. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University in 1994, before attending Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, where he graduated early and received his dental license in Illinois in 1997.
After practicing general dentistry for several years, Dr. Kong advanced his expertise by completing a three-year residency in advanced prosthodontics at the University of Florida, where he honed his skills in both conventional and implant prosthodontics. Following his training, he joined Southern Illinois University as a full-time faculty member, where he taught undergraduate dental students and served as the director of a post-graduate implant fellowship program.
Dr. Kong now practices in Winter Park, Florida, providing high-quality, individualized dental care with exceptional clinical judgment and expertise. He is committed to offering his patients the best possible care, focusing on precision and excellence in restorative and implant dentistry.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Kong serves as a clinical professor at LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, and regularly lectures and performs live surgeries for dentists across the United States. His experience and commitment to continuing education make him a respected figure in the field of prosthodontics.
