Dr. Tyler Sorensen, DMD
General Dentist & Implant Specialist
Dr. Tyler Sorensen is a highly skilled general dentist and implant specialist with over a decade of experience in restorative and implant dentistry. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, where he majored in Psychology and minored in Chemistry, Dr. Sorensen graduated from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2008. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Lehigh Hospital in Bethlehem, PA, where he honed his skills in a wide range of dental procedures.
In 2013, Dr. Sorensen began placing dental implants and has since become an expert in the field, having successfully placed over 5,000 implants from 2013 to 2019. He continues to advance his knowledge through continuing education, including a one-year mastery course at the gIDE Dental Institute in California in partnership with Loma Linda University.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Sorensen serves as an instructor for Hiossen Implant, Inc., where he teaches advanced surgical techniques and leads the Masters Basic Course, helping new dentists gain the skills to successfully place implants.
Dr. Sorensen’s commitment to exceptional care, combined with his technical expertise, allows him to handle even the most complex dental cases. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, helping his patients achieve beautiful, functional smiles.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sorensen enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Diana Silva, and their two children. A passionate outdoorsman, he loves snow and water skiing, hiking, and camping. He also enjoys tackling DIY projects and is known for his ability to fix almost anything.
